What is it ?

Just left of the where the steering column appears there is a small grill... what is this ?

thanks Si... thought it was some kind of speaker grill but never quite managed to hear if any sound came out of it.

Nearly used it as a piggy bank so that when I'm out of warranty I can afford all the factory resets I'll need to pay for.
