*mutter* was driving past Lidl today and had to pick one of these up. I have a good quality digitally controlled soldering station, but it's good to have a back-up (and I can lend this one out to people when they ask to borrow it instead of lending my "good" one). For the money this is a great deal.

Used this marvellous purchase for the third time at weekend and the damned thing packed in. Now destined for the bin along with the Aldi Battery Charger.

I'm sure most of their stuff has a 3 year guarantee under European legislation or something like that.
Worked for me with a breaker drill, used it for about 18 months it broke, took it back, full refund
But I'm guessing your going to reply with
