Hi Greg
Spot on job, just what I thought it would be like
Now then.....Clean? Explain this word please, not sure where my dictionary is. I didn't see anything in the handbook about cleaning, mind you it could be because I have never read it.
How can you spare the time with those lower arms still to fit (since May!)Paul Redding

Got my D3/D4 grill finished at the weekend, having looked at all the other variables, I decided I preferred the fatter look of the mesh portion on the D4 , so having bought a D4 Grill and a D3 one , i set about the Bastardisation process.
A good mate painted into Stornaway for me, and the silver of the insert is factory D4 as it remained unmarked during the process.
Unfortunately not much of the normal methods applied to this scenario, as the D4 insert is wider and also tapers slightly top to bottom.
Plus i wanted it to stand proud of the original grill uprights, rather than offering it up from behind as others have done.
Anyway, pleased with the end result, toughens up the front end, and as we know, Bespoke is the future

I think the Rimini is a bit on the camp side on your car, it looks like it is wearing lipstick. Both good jobs though I am sure the new owners will be very happy!

Was working late into the night, let it all cure overnight and couldn't wait to go out this morning and see if it has set and " try it on" lol

I am pleased with it. Made two slight errors with the cutting which are hardly noticeable ( but I know they're there! ). Probably shouldn't have tried to do it in the dark under only one fluorescent light with the beer fridge next to me
I've already managed to secure another Java black grille and I am currently winning another RRS one to make a second.
Thanks for the OP. Brilliant From the Factory: '05 Java Black D3 S-spec, Manual, Heated Fr & Rear Seats, Cruise, HK High Line.
Mods from me: D4 Bluetooth PTI, Napa Leather Smooth Wheel & New Gearstick Gaiter, De-tango'ed Light clusters, RRS Grille Mod, Hid's4u L.E.D's in every bulb holder, Centre Cubby Fridge, Colour coded front bumper with front PDC, fogs and halo DRL's. Dash vent illumination mod. More power sockets.

Kes, looks very nice buddy.
You should consider the fog light upgrade next mate, if you can do the grill you'll find the fog light and halo install very easy. Mods:
