How many Disco's

At school drop off this morning I finally got round to counting the no of LR's in the car park.

42! Mix of D, RR, Def, FL and RRE.

Ok, it's a private school but it's like a LR showroom. I must take a picture tomorrow.[/quote]

My youngest walks to school, but last time I went down with him, I counted the following:
D = 0
RR = 0
Def = 0
FL = 0
RRE = 0
(Although there is an old SJ410 there sometimes....not sure if that counts though Rolling with laughter )

We make the daughter walk. It's only just over 3 miles round trip and her backpack can be lifted with one hand. Oh and the big hill on the way home is not that steep really.

She loves the sensible shoes too. Just what every daughter needs.

I drove through kimbolton to a pheasant shoot today, the kimbolton prep and private schools are there, its like a sea of land rovers and range rovers. Not to mention the audi Q7s Porsche cayennes and all other 4x4s that never actually go off road.

Your daughter is lucky Robbie

We lived for three months in a brown paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six o'clock in the morning, clean the bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down mill for fourteen hours a day week in-week out. When we got home, out Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt!

And then

we got up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing "Hallelujah."

But you try and tell the young people today that... and they won't believe ya'.

I think my daughter would prefer beatings when compared to the electricity rule. She is allowed 3 electrical items in her room - her lamp, clock and iPod dock. Even though she has her own double-szed bedroom and bathroom she can still peer over her iPad mini in her own study area and equate it to sackcloth and ashes.

Clearly I am victorian dad.

They must all have way too much money.
