Auto box not shifting

Hi all, I'm having a few problems recently(engine not stopping and wearing indicators). One of them was that the auto box wasn't shifting. It happend twice reving up to 4000 in D on a flat road. The screen shows D manual shifting works and it seemed to rectify itself. Any ideas please?

Ian...

the lever you pull & push works a quadrant / lever mounted on the side of the actual gearbox
the shaft that is turned has a bush that suffer getting dry & stiff....7 this retards the action of gear selection...the lever is in the right place but the gearbox internals arent...

....its fixed by cleaning & lubricating the actual linkage, bush & shaft....mine was done under warranty & that also swapped the actual whole gearshift lever mechanism......I kept the original one that has nothing wrong with it...

there are somewhere on here instructions as to how to do it yourself....

I asked the dealer who did mine to use special waterproof grease thats used on mountain bikes...no issues since...
remarkably even though the D3 has superb off road credentials its the water & muck that cause the issue...

I'm sure someone will direct you to the instruction page of how to do it....

ps did you ever get your SAT NAV functioning ?...with the disc I sent you
 BREXIT - done properly.
