Suspension fault, new sensor & what's a corner valve? |
|
Ok I know this is a common issue to be having, I have issues with my suspension, I had the fault diagnosed to be the front right corner valve, what is this? I have changed the height sensor thinking this was it but no luck, any help appreciated!
Thanks, Mark

The corner valves are generally quite reliable. The early (05/06MY's) had issues with wiring in the N/S/F wheelarch, which is where I would be starting to look for your problem My D3 Build Thread

Ok had cover of for suspension compressor, apart from been covered in thick mud (now cleaned) no sings of cracks to casing of damage to any pipes etc... Had quick glance in wheel arch at wiring and that's above me lol, is the corner valve just 1 of the 4 suspension bags? The fault code was for corner valve? It can drive fine without coming on... But sometimes you can be driving and the amber light comes on other times you can be driving and red light comes on? Any time you try to adjust the suspension height from switch it has a fit and the light comes on with suspension fault normal height only... Losing will with this lol, please any advice appreciated!
Thanks

You need to find someone who knows what they are doing with these cars
It will more than likely be a wiring issue, and will need investigated, before throwing part at it My D3 Build Thread
