To be honest i think you would be lucky to see more than £8500 for it, as the old adage goes its only worth what somebody is willing to pay.
What colour is it? Disco 3 HSE

I was really keen on a V8 before I got my TDV6 but at the time the petrols were just too expensive. That was nearly 3 months ago and I would say about 75% of the V8's that were on sale then are still being advertised today, which would back my theory of being overpriced. As said £8.5k and you will sell it quickly. You could try for more and get lucky.
If you buy your D4 from a main dealer he might have enough margin to sweeten the deal on your PX, but main dealers are not renowned for their generosity when it comes to PX's. It's such a shame because the Jag engine in the V8's is sweet and some would say less problematic than the Diesels. But those mpg figures really suppress the attraction of owning one. Good luck with the sale, put some pictures up in the for sale section and you never know Discovery 4 HSE

In all honesty I find the cost of running my d3 v8 no more than it cost to run my d2 Td5.
I am more than very very happy.
