Forum interest in off-road instruction....?

I am intending booking a course with Ronnie Dale in the new year http://www.ronniedale4x4.co.uk/ronnie_fr.html ...I did it many years ago and found it very informative and interesting....he also does 4x4 professional training, and 4x4 Instructors training.
Just wondered if anyone would have interest in me trying to get a few members together, and possibly get a forum day booked ?
Ronnie operates on a maximum of 3 at a time,so any more and it would be on different days Thumbs Up

Hi Euan

Short answer from me would be 'it depends'...

I do a lot of offroad driving with my work, but am very conscious that I have not had any formal training for more than 25 years now. Whilst I am happy that the D3 can take me most places I need to go, and certainly to some that the 110 would not, I would be intertested in some targeted instruction.

In particular, my vehicle is often close to max GVW (if not above it) so dealing with breakout/sideslip on cross slopes etc is one issue that would be of interest. Presumably if it was arranged for Forum members than it would be D3/4 specific? That would be an attraction as many of the training centres use Defenders for 'serious work' and the 'smarter' vehicles to provide an off-road experience type event.

I have only heard good things of Ronnie in the past, so good luck whatever comes of this.
