European driving headlamp adjustment
On halogen headlights what areas of the front lens or adjustment should be made for driving on the right?

Don't bother. Do you think the French bother when they come here?

Agreed, don't worry about it.
Driven umpteen times on the continent with a D3 and never been flashed, neither halogen or xenon. Passed Gendarme cars with lights on at night & not a jot of interest from them.
I haven't bothered changing mine for a few years. Though zenon's have a tighter cut off than Halogens so don't tend to blind on coming traffic.
There are marks on the front of the lenses that show you where to place the converters and most will give you the correct shape based on model.Mark.

Only time I ever got flashed when driving on the "wrong" side of the road was in a convoy on the Tunisian motorway south of Tunis. We thought it might be coz the locals didn't like xenons as both the cars from Luxembourg (with xenons) were also getting flashed.
