GPS GSM GPRS car tracker on Amazon for £39 - thoughts? |
|
Anyone used one of these? One of the guys I work with has just bought one for his VW synchronize. Wondered if anyone else has seen them. Looks cheap enough to be worth a punt.

They are discussed relatively frequently on Defender2 as one part of a security system.

Thanks, Martin. I lost my visiting rights to the Def forum when I shed my shed, so I've missed the chance of following those discussions.
Is there a general view that they're OK? Or only OK "as part of a security system", which may involve land mines, rottweilers and a few hundred meters of razor wire? I'm tempted, but will only know what they're like once the guy at work has managed to fit his to his Synchro (not his "synchronise" - thank you, iPad). PAGODA

Bought one for use in a caravan and it worked a treat. Does everything it says it does.
