Front/rear wash wipe

So what's the technique for just was/wiping the front screen (squirts and a quick wipe) without the back wiper coming on and vice-versa ?
Can the car be prommmed easily to stop combining the two ?
I would prefer independent control of front and back....

On mine, you press the end of the wiper stalk to wash the front, and pull the stalk towards you to the second position to wash the rear. Both totally independent of each other. The front wipers are controlled by up and down movement of the stalk, the rear towards and away from you.

On the sport they changed it...but either way the two actions were separate unless you were in reverse when it automatically comes on.

If you don't have independent control of front and back I would suggest there is a problem with your switch, as said above the only time the rear wash/wipe should activate with the front one is when the car is in reverse Thumbs Up

Ok thanks. Mine definately activates the rear wiper when I just give the front a squirt, annoying as it then smears the rear which then needs a wash which then smears the front and so on......only useful when raining hard ! Will get it looked at..
