Not technicaly a 'Discovery 3/4' tip or trick, but more of a disco3.co.uk tip.
I can't see anybody mentioning this and though it might help out people when searching the forum
This has worked for some of the bigger sites for a while now ie youtube
Now works for the forum
Only works in Chrome though.......
Start to type disco.co.uk in the address bar and off to the right you will see 'Press Tab to search DISCO3.CO.UK' appear, obviously its fairly intuitive at this point, just press 'tab' enter your search term and hit 'enter'. Here's a couple of screen shots

Just another option - the site search isn't all that intuitive needing to use +search +terms.
I usually use google and enter "site:disco3.co.uk my search term goes here" as I find the results easier to read TBH.
