Strange Squeak

Bit of an odd one.

When I accelerate on an incline and then take my foot off the accelerator I hear a reasonably loud squeak. For those of you that have heard one - it sounds like the same noise a Buzzard makes whilst in flight. Almost like a cat. I have had my local garage spray some silicon lubricant on the suspension which got rid of a bit of noise there but this screech is still there.

Does anyone have any ideas? Neutral

weirdly I had a squeak which was doing my head
it went away during the summer but than after while on very hot day i manged to wet my shoes soles and squeak came back more prominent than ever

changed rubber on all pedals and problem was solved lol

the squeak you got might also be coming from ARB bushes, had that for ages

Stange Squeak Resolved

As un update I have endured this strange squeak for some time and initially it was intermittent. It progressively got worse and the suggestions was ARB's or suspension. Initially it could not be heard on the ramp which made us think it was a movement issue.

Now discovered that it was in fact a pipe leading to the EGR on the offside. The pipe was not sealed on to the EGR and we tried refitting the pipe, replacing the clamp which we thought may have spread and eventually fitting a new pipe. The noise has now stopped. Thumbs Up

Was worried that it was failing EGR's but not the case. Smile

My D4 is still at the dealer in pieces while they try and sort out a similar groaning noise that occurs when it's cold and the car pitches slightly on cambers etc. so far it's had a new idler pulley and turbo fitted but apparently that hasn't fixed the problem.
