A NEW Garrett or Borg Warner Turbo Turbocharger with 2 years Warranty from forum sponsors Advanced Factors is £825.80:-

IMHO avoid "rebuilt" or "reconditioned" turbos.

Find a good indy to do the work.

Hi there NJSS

Why would you want to avoid "rebuilt" or "reconditioned" turbos?

Cheers

Stephen - in that case you might get away with the actuator linkage which is cheap but a Censored to fit in situ (unless you have girly hands Embarassed )

george -I believe the turbo internals can be refurbed but the D3 has an electronic 'stepper motor' actuator which has to be calibrated to the unit - the only place being the manufacturer in Germany so that could cause issues as mentioned by other more knowlegable posters on here Wink
