Glove box pin removal please removal

Does any one know if I cam remove the pins of the glove box without the special tool of landrover. Please advise [color=red][/color][size=18][/size]

I just broke them off and ordered replacement new pins. Much easier. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

Yes, did mine to change the bin because of a broken handle.

The pin has two barbs on the end that need to be squeezed in to allow them to pass through the hole.

It's a bit fiddly but can be done.

Martin, I created a how to and thought it was only saved on the laptop which I'd have to get to later on, our broadband is hit and miss at the moment, but looking at my gallery its in there and therefore akedar et al can view from there Thumbs Up
