I've just used some turtle wax trim restorer all over with some success, claims to last 3 months, the scuttle appears black after 2 weeks in the Aussie sun still, so it seems to work.2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

A vehicle detailer friend of mine gave me some bumper dressing which is like linseed oil, Its very hard wearing and brings all plastics up including my sunworn scuttle to near perfection. The only down side is its best to apply this when its dry and warm.1997 BMW R1100GS
