When will the 2009 be available?
First I was told September by dealer. Then October, then November.
Anyone on this board in the know?

I could have thought of that. But that would have required brain power and effort.
Wondering if anyone on this board knows.
How does it look? I wasn't sure what to think of the wheel arches being the same color as the body. How does the black laquer wood interior look?
Is the LR3 in your gallery the stornoway grey color? The stornoway grey looks darker here in the States. I like the grey on yours.

kevinla, yep its a Stornoway.
It is fairly dark but lighter than the previous Bonatti colour (aplos for the wrong spelling there).
And to be honest the photo does make it look lighter. Wales (where the picture was taken) is a pretty sunny country much of the time so its slightly over exposed
The 2009 looks great (much to my surprise after seeing the images on line) except for Silver... all the darker colours look good and so does white. Silver - NOT the colour to have a D3 anymore. We saw nearly the whole palette at the factory recently and LR have done the right thing with the new front, rear and side colour coding.

yer... a bit of sarcasm is obviously lost on you two then
Using a was I thought a good indicator of said sarcasm...
Actually, I've noticed that images uploaded to the Gallery appear washed out compared to the original images.

They are deliveing them now in Oz too.
Your dealer may still have MY08s to get rid of. If you order one from factory now it will be MY09.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

With the current excess of 08 D3s on the lots, LR is holding the 09's at Port, or so is my understanding. Until the dealers clear out the 08 inventory, you'll be hard pressed to find one just yet.
cheers!

Thanks for the info fellas.
MacLeod 313:
That black interior looks sleek. I see in the photo gallery that you did the installation yourself. Great job! How long did that take? How much money did you save by doing it yourself? I am glad LR finally went to a more modern interior trim instead of the wood designs.
I can't wait to pick up my Stornoway grey with black lacquer wood with 19 INCH CHROME SHADOW WHEELS. Do any of you blokes in Britain know if they are offering the chrome shadow wheels for 2009 (LR part # RRC002900MNL in the 2008 LR3 catalogue found online) or do I need to scoop some up now before they stop selling them?
As a matter of fact I am going to call a dealer now to find out if they are taking orders.
