Strange LED indicator issue
Hi,
tried to install some LEd indicator bulbs last week, as supplied by leds4u, got a strange issue though,
only put the rears in as the fronts are on backorder, they worked fine on the right side, but on the left side the interior indicator light on the dash was going like there was a bulb out..swapped the leds over and same thing - so it's not a faulty led... any thoughts?
I wondered if it was because the front wasn't an led .. but why would the right side work?
the leds have all the correct resistors etc and should just be plug and playcheers

The one that is flashing fast has not got enough resistance, i.e. If a resistor is fitted it's not working / causing the right amount of resistance to simulate a filament bulb, adding another LED in the from will make it worse

when I swapped them over the left was still not working but the right was, does this suggest a wiring issue on the left side?cheers

You will still need to wire-in a resistor on each corner you have an LED indicator bulb fitted. I've done the same with no issues.

ah ok, I thought you didn't need resistors with those..
so I will need 4 resistors then - one for each corner? cheers
