Could just be your battery needing a good charge.
You mentioned you've just returned from a two week holiday - the battery can go quite flat in that time.

Charge the battery, and check for water ingress into the transfer case ECU, behind the battery. Both very common issues, and the first place to start My D3 Build Thread
