HI All
I need to get a new set of headphones for the RSE to avoid war breaking out between the kids.
My local dealership tells me that the IR headphones / part number I need is LR037701, which comes in a mere £183. But apparently, this is the part number I need, and other infra red headphones won't work in my car.
When I trawl through ebay, there seem to be lots of other LR (and non LR) headphones with different model numbers going for a fraction of that price.
Does anyone know if they are likely to work, or if I have to stick with the recommended LR model numbers.
Even better, any ideas if I can use a wired set of headphones along side the IR ones (and where I would plug this in). I've tried the AUX socket in the back, but that seems to be an input rather than an output.
Any thoughts really appreciated !
cheers
Paul

I have 1, I had a pair till one broke last week, they are the land rover ones that come with the kit that fits in the headrest ?
If this suits let me know, I'll chuck the broken one in for spares ? Only dead fish go with the Flow !

P , I'm sure I have a brand new set of infrared headphones in my toolbox at work they were a pair that were doubled up at pdi , they were for a ford galaxy however I'm not sure what frequency they operate at but your welcome to try them if you cannot repair yours . You're not afraid of the dark are you ?
