Osram Night Breaker Un-limited Bulbs |
|
Hi, After a bit of lurking thought I'd better pull my finger out and get on with some posting!
I have just fitted the new Osram Unlimiteds in to my Halogen D4 along with Phillips Blue Vision Ultra side lights. And to be honest I’m quite impressed! It’s still not quite as good as Xenon’s but it’s noticeably better than before so worth the 30odd quid spent!

Hi Mike, I must get around to doing the same, did you have any difficulties in switching the bulbs over?
What were the specs on the new bulbs you put in?
Thanks, Owen

Owen, Below is what I put in! Im not at all technical, I can just about change a normal light buld so this was a major challenge for me!
The grille clips out no problem at all, just look for the small clips top and bottom. Each light unit has 2 black leavers that you need to pull up (but not to far!) I couldn't do this with my fingers so ended up using the section of the jack assemby with a curved end, this did the job! The light units then just lift away and unplug at the rear.
Changing the dipped was easy, take off the rubber cover, unclip the bulb and unplug. The side lights are a little more tricky as you need to unscrew the locking leaver at the side of the unit to get to them, but after that it was a simple un plug and replace.
