Steel side bars......Will they fit? |
|
Hi all, as the heading states really. I'm wanting a set of steps or tubes and have been offered a set of genuine LR Stainless steel bars but my car has the factory fitted mudflaps, so I'm not sure if they will fit, or whether they can be "fettled" to fit. Any advice will be appreciated. Steve All that I Pay my Psychiatrist is the price of Feed and Hay.....and he listens to me All Day

Thanks for the reply. It's nice to know I'm not in a vacuum now and feel that I'm just managing to catch my breath. Cheers Steve All that I Pay my Psychiatrist is the price of Feed and Hay.....and he listens to me All Day

A friend of mine has the landrover stainless side tubes , and his are fitted with front mudguards still in place.
No issues, no modifications needed, though I can't imagine the D4 set up is any different, someone else may know differently.
Cheers.

If you mean the LR stainless steel tubes then yes they will fit with LR standard mudflaps. Should be a picture in my gallery somewhere. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand
