I had best find another person
any volunteers? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
Best idea is to leave it off (before it breaks off anyway) and fit a Mantec plate instead. Takes the D3 away from the girly look of the plastic Jap Crap 4x4s to a proper Manly Solihull Product

Put some vaseline on the screw sockets first. It help ease them in. Don't push too hard or you will force the plastic socket out of position and it will be lost forever behind the bumper.
JMC is right, ditch the plastic, and get the Mantec.
What does a Mantec Plate look like, how much, and can I get one in Oz.
My car was delivered new with 3 lugs missing, dealer sent replacements to me, but recently noticed 2 missing again. Could be due to a small wallaby I ran over a few months ago.'06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE

Here is one of the best images I could find (courtesy of cotefarmboy):
I have run 2 group buys on these through the disco3 site and have sold AUS$25,000 worth here However, I have never sent one to Oz though I did look into it once before. Cost is too high I fear. Total for one plate would be about $800 inc shipping

Ramps
JMC
Is it OK putting the D3 on these ramps - I have some and also axle stands both rated 2T - thought it might lead to crushed person/damaged car using these. Is it worth investing the considerable extra to get 3T rated ramps/stands?
