So,
im looking at buying a D3, mainly to replace the 300tdi i've had for many years which has recently suffered many problems due to old age....though at this stage id still like to keep the old lady for the odd bit of fun which i wouldn't want to subject the nicer paintwork to.
However, next August i'm getting married, and one of the reasons for getting the D3 is make the trip via ferry down to spain, drive across the country to Marbella (ish) for the weeklong holiday/ceremony etc and then spend 10 days driving back through france to the UK.
So if anyone has been 'laning' or off roading in either Spain or France then do please let me know!!! Im keen to stretch the legs of the old girl whilst i'm there and know of a few routes covered by LRO round Benahavis but others by Andorra, Bordeaux etc would be great!!
