Oil level check

Hi, now this may be a daft question.....

but I can't find the oil level check in the on screen menu. My menu does not have service items on it as per the manual. What am I missing?

Have you switched the engine off? As the service menu only appears then. On mine you also have to wait between 5 and 10 minutes for the oil level to be displayed.

I find it is best to do it first thing before starting engine - get in car and press ''START'' button BUT without foot on brake then you will be able to access the service menu.

Hmm, keeps saying not available, will try after a run. I take it if the oil is low I get a warning?

Bring back the dipstick....

As Ted posted,
ignition on,
press OK,
scroll to Service,
press ok,
scroll to oil level and press ok,
Press ok to exit.
You can only do it if its been stood a while, otherwise you get the "Not Available" message.
Best done first thing before you start.
