Key falling to bits
Has anyone had issues with their D4 (MY12) key falling apart. The outer black plastic/rubber cover that covers all the buttons is coming off exposing the buttons.
Any thoughts.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

My MY2012 Key is fine no signs of wear, but to be honest it stays in my pocket 99% of the time so I'm really touching it to wear it out Cheers Ian

I should imagine that it rubs when it stays in your pocket with the movement of your clothing.
Especially if you wear skin tight skinny jeans, leather chaps or PVC.

Thinking about it, I don't think I have ever pressed any of the buttons on the key.
Perhaps I should test one of them one day!Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
