Channel 4 this evening had an interesting programme (sort of a time-team special) on how Britain used to be attached to mainland Europe without any sign of North Sea or English Channel.
Tony Robinson has always had good taste in vehicles on his time-team show with a variety of Solihulls finest in use. Things just got better tonight with a Cairns Blue D3 getting a full screen shot for no apparent reason. Product placement is a fine thing sometimes There was also a white Freelander commercial in there too.
One of the startling facts was that, during the 'mezolithic' period (where's DSL? ) there was reckoned to be a 7 degree increase in average temperatures in 15 years
And the only 4x4 was a 20 tonne Wooly Mammoth who was feeling the heat The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I'll tell him you liked it JMC 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Did you notice the bottom of the lower tailgate? Seemed to be silver or light-coloured. Could have been another Time Team logo I suppose - I didn't get a good look.
Get your young 'un to tell him instead - if he knows who Tony is yet...... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
