Toe out on parking

when I look at the back of my D3 it looks like a bit like a saggy spitfire with it's CV joints worn out. So I guess when the air suspension is pumped up all this toe out slackness is removed ?

I noticed this, and was told it was normal, however, several contributors have had problems with the inside edges of the rear tyres scuffing and wearing away. Upon investigation the wheel alignment was found to be out.

If your car is less than 10k miles, get LR to check all wheels alignment. If over 10k you will have a battle to get them to pay.

Sorry, do you mean toe out (where the front of the wheels are further apart than the rear), or do you mean negative camber (where the tops of the wheels are closer together than the bottom). If guessing from the Censored reference you mean the latter?

Si.

Don't worry Randalls - It is supposed to look like that with the air out!! 8)

Personally I think it looks quite cool that way - kind of like one of those caracatures of the real thing.

Let me know when you get to 1500 miles without a problem. Then you win the lolipop!! Laughing

well up to 350 now - but uh oh .....an engine fault warning flashed up briefly today- engine lost power for a second - then everything cleared. Just been through a few 2" puddles as is normal for backroads in these here parts....still shouldnt have affected sensors though ? Confused . Think I am still on for my lolly though Laughing
