Tinting.....

Just spent the afternoon in Hinckley - not much happening there but we got our windows tinted at Midland Tinting and it was well worth the wait. Ben is a perfectionist and we're really happy with the result - highly recommended!! Just need the Xenons now Slimer and we'll be looking good Thumbs Up Mercedes SLK 280

It's remarkably easy to get to - and get out of that's for sure!! Even treated to some street theatre - aka 2 sixteen year old girls having a punch up in the high street - just like the headlines of a certain daily newspaper today..... it all happens in Hinckley!!

I've read a few tint threads but cannot remember if there was any consensus as it relates to factory %. Does anyone know what LR factory tint % is? 15% ? 20% ? Thanks 16 D4 Landmark

I'm pretty sure LR Tint is 20% - we've had 20% on our Zermatt Silver and you wouldn't really want to go any darker on a light vehicle IMHO. Limousine Black (5%) is virtually wipeout and far too dark..... Mercedes SLK 280

i got 25% on mine, looks really good and honesly 99% of the time i cant tell a diff between the rear and the front
on a side note however, the from the inside out the factory tint appears lighter than aftermarket, but that is just the wonders of science
