it does reset. It only locks out after 5 (I think) starts with low fuel. After this you need the diag tool to reset it

Al, thanks. That's what the garage told me too (although they thought 3 starts). But SWMBO does pretty low mileage during the week days, so she'll often run the car a whole week with maybe less than a quarter tank in it. I guess we'll just have to get used to running it with a fuller tank!
