Morning
I'm trying to locate the timed climate receiver in my 2016 D4. It maybe a case that it's not fitted, but I have a feeling it is but the remote mislaid.
I've looked in the rear in the space by the jack & the tow hitch but can't see anything that resembles the other pictures I've seen on here. That said my mobility isn't great at the moment so I haven't probed to deep.
Alternatively, is it possible to interrogte the system with the IID to see if one is fitted & enabled?

If fitted correctly then it is in the right hand (as you look in) boot space further back from the jack behind the trim. You can feel it if you put your hand in past the jack area and upwards - diagonally from the jack.
It's a small light grey box approx 8cm x 12cm x 1.5cm. There will be 2 leads attached, one is the aerial.
I don't think the IID will tell you if it's fitted only that the CCF has been enabled.

Thanks for the clarification Nick. I can see now where it should be.
Off to source a remote, receiver & aerial then!
As a aside, when using the timed on the OSD, I see a manual heat & manual climate button but they are greyed out, do you know there purpose?

You can use them whilst you are sat in the car to either heat or vent if the engine is not running MY16 Landmark - Yulong White

Buy a receiver from duck worth’s. the whole kit is about 166 quid new.
People often sell them at hugely inflated prices and people don’t check what they actually
Cost new.

Whereabouts can you source the whole kit (using genuine LR parts) for about £166 please? I want to add the FBH remote facility to my D4 but all my costings come up rather more than £166! As far as I’m aware the parts needed are receiver LR036695, aerial LR008654 and remote LR027493. These parts currently add up to £389.99 from Advanced Factors (less a bit of discount of course) but is still way more than £166...
