Timed climate error message, but no timed climate options |
|
Afternoon all,
Apologies if this turns out to be a very n00b question... Just got a MY2010 Disco 4 HSE on Saturday.
For the last couple of days I've seen the "Timed Climate Unavailable" message on the sat-nav screen, which from searching around a bit I understand is probably due to what the car believes is a low battery.
My confusion is because I don't appear to have any timed climate options in the car's system. I've read the manual and done some searching around on here for more info about it, but I don't see the button on the home menu, nor in the vehicle settings screen.
Do I have something wrong somewhere or does the car really show me a warning message about a system that I don't actually have?

No, never figured it out. Car still does it but it doesn't cause a problem.
I agree, it's not enabled in the CCF, but why does it then show me the notification (If not available at all, why tell me it's not available due to low battery)?

IIRC there are 2 or 3 settings in the CCF for the timed climate.
My guess would be that at least 1 is not set correctly
If you don't have an iid then find a sponsor near you to check your settings and get it working correctly
