Message has started to appear on start up Service required But date of first reg is 28 11 2012 and mileage is 8600 Seems a bit early to me or is this normal?

According to topex the warranty start date is one month before first reg date!!! Time for a e mail to Land Rover.

same here, service reminder came up month before first registration with only 8600 miles showing, must be the norm.

Yep Same here, November registration and service message flagged up end of September @ 5300 miles, not a particularly high mileage bunch are we? Mine has done more on French motorways than UK roads...
Appreciate It's to drum up business for LR service departments, but wondered if anyone was opting for an Indy for first service? Sure it would be cheaper and even more comprehensive based on other recent posts, can't help thinking a non LR stamp early on in life might put off potential purchasers in future, or am I over thinking things?
