Too true. It'll be with a heavy heart if I get rid of the trusted work horse
Nothing out there yet to replace it

Have you looked at the Ssangyong Rexton ? It does what a disco does (yes I know, not everything a disco does) but it tows 2.5 tons, has 7 seats and 7 year warranty. low range box, 34 mpg, v cheap road tax
Worth a look, i got the top of the range for £34k, with detachable tow bar, mats and side steps. Dealer has been good, it has had its 'niggles' but is a lot of car for not a lot of cash.
If you are only looking EV and I have missed the point ignore me....... James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Here's the reply from Rivian.........
Hi Philip,
Thanks for your interest in Rivian! We haven't announced our plans for the UK quite yet. We will let you know as soon as we open up our preorders to your side of the pond. Stay tuned!
Best,
Gabi
So, a fair time to wait and see what else gets released by other manufacturers
