Not good at all, no matter what car was taken.
But that Disco does look a real mess considering it was in a built up area.
Looks like a 'bite' type chunk is off the side of the bonnet too!...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

The "bite" chunk will probably of been emergency services accessing battery - I've noticed similar before on vehicles they attend
No conciliation but glad the police caught the suspect quickly - such a shame they couldn't save the mum and boy - hope the dad pulls through but going to be hard for him and daughter at Uni - my thoughts go out to them Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

A shocking story

The person arrested was living with the family so it doesn't sound like a robbery gone wrong unfortunately.Cheers Ian

If you look on the left in the garden there appears to be a decent sized RSJ bent over which may relate to some of the significant damage

Literally down the road and round the corner from me, Though I didn't know them at all, it's awful. I hope the dad pulls through or the daughter has lost her parents and brother.

A homeless 23yo man has been charged.
The family involved had taken in a 23yo homeless man to put a roof over his head and look after him.
What a payback !!!
Total utter lowlife scum !!!...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
