I did a thing today!!
Well thank god for You Tube videos! Yes, that common tailgate shut and actuator cable broke🤬 so with all available tools I went for it much to my wife amusement, on my knees, in the boot, swearing!! After scrapped knuckles it’s done. Used piano wire and electrical terminal insert with screws to hold wire, not in pic.. it works perfectly now. However I have ordered a new actuator for the long term 👍

Hey, thats my video! I'm stoked it helped someone else... It's not the most sweary job I've ever had to do on the D3, but it still took it's own share of my blood and skin to get it done
