Thetford Forest
Hello All - I'm fairly new to the forum and very new to camping (well proper camping as opposed to passing out in a tent, when a teenager ).
We recently bought a Conway Spirit Trailer Tent from Gras (forum member) and thoroughlyenjoyed our first camping trip. We stayed at the Camping and Caravvning Club's Thetford Forest site and would thoroughly recommend it! The staff were helpul, pitches nice, level and big, facilities were spotless and location was perfect!
I've saved a couple of pictures of my 'rig' in my gallery, the Disco 3 definitely being the tool for the job!
The New Forest is next on the agenda! Hopefully it will be as good an experience as the last one! If so, we've definitely been missing out! Now onto my second D3, alongside my fourth FFRR - I don't learn!

I still have needles from New Forest pine trees permanently stuck in the gooey mastic around all the roof lights and vents on my caravan from two years ago. And I'm never going to be able to get rid of them

Scott,
Good to see you're up for your next adventure. Reputably the best site in the New Forest is Sandy Balls, but usually difficult to book unless you reserve a pitch in good advance. We've also stayed at Lytton Lawn near Milford on Sea a few times - not too big and they have nice level premium pitches with electric which you'll be able to pitch the TT on. Good luck!

We stayed at Roundhill - was superb. Camping amongst the cows and new forest ponies... pigs occassionally spotted by all accounts and the facilities were clean, showers hot, definitely going back.
Most important... a nice camping crowd, families, not noisy but you didn't feel afraid to still be chatting and having fun past 11 either!!
