Maybe I need new glasses and its there already but is there a "thumbs up" or a "thanks" button? I've had some good help since joining and it would be nice to show appreciation in some way other than a PM.

I can indeed and I do. I also agree with the original post on the thread you sent, so thanks for that. Where's the sarcasm emoji? Nothing to do with Facebook or other such rubbish just a way to acknowledge quietly when someone has left some useful information or offered good help. Used frequently on other forums I'm on and generally used for the correct purpose as a "thanks" and not a "like" which is something different entirely.
