Thanks Geoff - Great Job
Geoff, it was great to see my D3 it such competent hands at the weekend. Lower wishbones, Drop Links, ARB bushes, inner and outer track rods and rear panhard rods all replaced. Watching you and Dave working was like watching a surgeon and his helper carefully doing an operation that they have done many times before - "22mm socket", "17mm ratchet", "torch", "pliers", "torque wrench"
The fact that you managed to get the toe in/out good enough to drive to Tunbridge Wells for the 4 wheel alignment this morning with no bongs etc was amazing. Your recommendation of SE Tyres and Liam was spot on. Felt like I was in good hands there as well.
The drive home across the Ashdown Forest was great . Winding potholed roads were taken in their stride. I had forgotten just how good the D3 was to drive when parts have no wear and settings are perfect.
I am so glad I asked you to do the work and not me! D3 better off in your hands than mine 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

The poor bloke is destined to spend the winter under cars doing mechanical work. He must be praying for a job that allows him to stand over a warm engine by now. He is going to need a Santa suit just to keep warm!

Don't feel sorry for Geoff - it was pxxxing it down and he wanted to do the work outside Having cleared half the (wider than normal) garage so he could work undercover, he still took a lot of convincing to work in the garage. Fortunately it was 14 degrees on Saturday - bit colder today 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
