Thanks Flack!
Just a quick post to say thanks to Mick who came and did a full belts, water pump, oil pump casing and all idlers, pulleys etc. service for me on Tuesday. All done quick with no stress and at a very reasonable cost - thanks!
Shame I wasn't able to stand around and ask loads of stupid questions as the job was done - suspect Mick dodged a bullet there...
Now on to the rest of the list of "things to fix" that these cars love us to create - front suspension bushes as checked by Mick and now also the air-con which yesterday decided to stop working Cheers,
Gareth

Glad your both happy guys, I enjoy the week ends down with Geoff good laugh and a top bloke and I get well looked after by his boss...

I'll message you next week Mick about me popping by when I'm back in your lovely part of the country for you to stamp my service book that I stupidly left at home

It's funny you say that, as later in the day when I came to move the Disco I could swear it started up smoother and quicker but decided I was imagining it! Cheers,

I'll add my thanks to Mick here, he quoted me to fit a replacement front passenger door lock some months ago, but due to issues I had at work I was unable to meet as planned
Anyway we met at a motorway services today and good as his word he did the lock for the price quoted, the fact it turned into a bit of a of a job in the midday sun didn't make any difference.
Two flat torches later, Mick's and mine it was all together and working, am I glad I decided to not have a go at it?
OH YES
Thanks Mick it was great to meet you and have a chat, my apologies that it turned into the worst one you'd done
