Looking at these photos from the top/latch side, the yellow wire and black wire on terminal one and two are the auxiliary output.

Hi all,

I’ve just purchased a 2010 Discovery 4 GS and looking at changing the head unit. Looked on Alibaba and the cheapest I can find is close on £700.00 with delivery and import tax.

Does anyone know of a uk supplier or a cheaper place?

Thanks.

Land Rover screen offset to left when opened

Morning All,

A request for input - I have fitted the 'Tesla' screen - all went well with fitting - PX6, Android 9.

I have two issues that I need assistance from this forum on.

1. When I open the 'Land Rover' console to access the in built functions, the 'window' is skewed to the left. Is there a parameter value that I can check / change in the set up to reset this?

2. Is there a way to disable / turn off the air con pop ups / function on the 'Tesla'?

Appreciate any input or guidance you can give.

As an alternative, is there anyone with a 'Tesla' PX6 that is entirely happy with their configuration who is prepared to post details, screenshots, whatever is convenient, showing the install set, user settings that they have. In short anything where there is a user option to select!

I have tried a reset, physical disconnection and reconnection between Tesla and original LR components to address this to no avail. Screen presents as normal when hooked back up to original.

My thoughts are to confirm all parameters that I have set with a 'working' set in case I have any differences.

Appreciate any assistance offered.

Regards

What year is your vehicle. I have sittings for Denso and early Bosch.
You should contact your supplier,it’s probably a vehicle type settings.

I have noticed a big increase recently, probably due to huge hike in chip and transport costs.

You can try this.
Go to Settings > Install Set > 666888ok >Landrover >Landrover > and select Landrover found 4BSC >ok.
Then go back and select save and reboot.
If that’s not working try Landrover found 4DZR.Make sure to note the original settings and any changes you make so you can go back.
If still no joy, you will have to ask your supplier.

Hi,

I am about to install one of these. I am obtaining it from Icebox auto in liverpool.

the spec is
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953
• Android 10.0 Operating System
• CPU: Octa-Core, Cortex - A53, 2.0GHZ, 14n mLPP
• GPU: Adreno 506, Support 4K HD H.264 (AVC) 30FPS
• CPU: built in Hexagon 546 DSP
• 8/64GB RAM

so it looks to be newer than the PX6 models.

a couple of questions for those who have installed these units.

I have a 2016 disco 4 with the bosch headunit

i would like to split both the DAB antenna and the GPS antenna from the car. i think the DAB unbit itself is in the rear of the car, but can the split be done behind the radio? or do i need to run a cable from the back of the car to the front.

can anyone tell me the exact splitting cables i need for both?

has anyone worked out how to convert the dials to MPH yet?

many thanks
