terrain response broken help
After accidently leaving my sunroof open in the rain i now have a problem with the terrain response system. it was ok at first but then got a fault message and i cant seem to reset it.
I have stripped it down dried it out - quite a bit of water had got to it - reconnected and cleared faults with faultmate but still nothing
i change ccf for now and told car it doesnt have the terrain response so no alarm to wind me up everyday
i know i dont use it often only in snow really but would like to see it working.
i havent tried a hard reset - only ccf off then back on and fault was there again. would a hard reset help? how do i do it?
i want to borrow a new switch unit but worried if i connect it it will damage the temp donor one?
thoughts and words of wisdom please

Sounds to me like you've damaged the computer unit (this is contained under the rotary switch) - best option would be to change the unit ...Regards,
