TDV6 Turbo

Any tips on removing & replacing the turbo, TDV6 D3?
Does the body have to be lifted off as I've heard?

You can access it from under the car by removing the front prop etc but it is still a messy job.

Thank you, luckily it was not the turbo but a thrust washer.
