For a SDV6 3.0 Diesel Engine from 2011 RRS, can I apply the same way to change the injectors as here descrived? Do I need to programm the injectors?
Thanks

Hi all any ideas what this may be? Mines a 55 RRS. Runs fine, starts 1st time. running out of ideas. Also posed on RRsport.
Hi all, can anyone shed any light on this please? I put a post up last week thinking it may be the intercooler hose, but its not that.
Essentially i get plumbs of blue smoke if idling for a while or in heavy traffic. Dies down a bit when driving but will also come back under heavy load. had the intercooler hoses off and theres some oil but nothing out the ordinary id say.
2.7 td6 sport. Many Thanks

5 & 6 are a bit too low what is the reason for your querying in the first place?
With throttle open they should all be 993/5 .yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Check and clean the MAP sensor (don't push anything into it, use brake cleaner or similar)
You could also try a fuel additive to see if it can help clean up any sludge/gum in the injector tips.
You may find it cheaper elsewhere such as Halfords, or not
If that doesn't help after a few hundred miles, at least one injector may be required. After which the others may balance out better. If not a second injector might be required.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Clean the MAP sensor first and try the fuel additive for a few hundred miles and let's see if that improves anything. Have you blanked the EGR's or are they still operating?
If you haven't blanked them it would be advisable!!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Hi
I am having a leaky injector in the middle on the right side (right side when I look through the windshield). I will try to follow this excellent write-up to get it out.
My question is, do I absolutely need to undo the fuel pipes and how do i do that?
Under picture 3 he wrote: Undo fuel pipes from HPFP.
Where and what is the HPFP?
Thanks

You just need to undo the plastic and metal fuel pipes directly on injector.
be careful with the plastic one and the metal clip!
metal clip can spring off
