Talking of fire extinguishers, I've just ordered the standard 1kg LR accessory and did wonder whether it was big enough to be of any practical use. Does anyone know what is sensible for car fire extinguishers?

Hey coffeecup... you must know a good lake to dive into if you catch fire eh ?

Nope that was a packaging thing, new regs (HSE I presume) meant that everything vaguely dangerous such as fire extinguishers, bottles of brake fluid, etc. had to have all the packaging relabled to remind you not to eat the contents or words to that effect anyway. LR couldn't send anything out until they'd done it.The End

Are you allowed to take it out of the packaging before fitting it to the Vehicle - I can just imagine trying to tear off vaccum-pack wrapping in a time of need Coffeecup
