TD V8 - seen testing in RR?

I was driving my Disco3 down the A93 past Glenshee yesterday (lamenting the end of the ski season, but that's another matter) and saw some interesting Range Rovers. There were three of them in RHD with UK plates and one LHD on trade plates, all with funny looking large computer screens on the dashboard. Finally struggling up the hill from the Spittal was a Disco3 pulling a RR on a trailer.

Testing the V8 Diesel? If so, when and...please can I have one in a Disco?

Thanks - that will move! Hopefully I can have it in a Disco next year but probably only as an auto.

TDV8 - Power Output over 270 PS. Develops upto 640Nm of torque. This is the twin turbo version, not sure if they'll do a single turbo version?? Disco 5 HSE Lux

The same type of gearbox in the D3 is also used in the Bentley Continental GT whose W12 produces 650Nm Smile
