We had a guy at work do something similar with a cattle prod . Luckily it fell out of his hand quite early on in the experiment but he was still pretty wacked .

I worked with a guy who thought his reactions were quicker than an electric stapler (used for stapling large documents) - these things work fast and with a heavy bang.....
