Takla seat covers

I wish I'd thought to do this when the vehicle was brand new.

Hopefully this will protect the leather against any further wear & tear, and also prevent me stressing when the kids get mud/ice cream/dog doo/mcdonalds/coke etc all over the back seat

They look quite slippery, but strangely enough they aren't

covers the entire boot area, including the sides
great for the dogs too

I have Alpaca (light leather) and 2 young girls... Invested early on in my Takla covers, been in the washing machine a couple of times and they are still looking great!
They are easy to remove but take some time putting back on again.. well worth the investment!!!

Hi, can you tell me how the bootliner fixes into place, do they use velcro? also do you know of any stockists in Jo'burg as I hope to come over late Jan early Feb and may look to purchase a set of covers & possibly an air jack dependend of cost as ever Whistle

The bootlinet is fixed with velcro that sticks onto the plastic bits of the D3. They supply you with a whole bunch extra for refitting etc.

Takla are based in JHB (Kyalami) check out their website www.takla.co.za. I live very close, so could assist if necessary

I've had my Takla bootliner almost a year now and it works outstandingly well. It was the first accessory I purchased and there is no damage to the load compartment as a result. Cost about R3200 (in Namibia) for this portion. Will soon consider Escape cotton covers for seats (about R5000).

The Velcro worked well for the first 6 months but has now started to come off, particularly in heat. I have now fixed it with black screws (it really hurt to screw into the Landi) so should not have further problems.

I looked at the Takla product but was not impressed with the sloppiness of the fitting. I bought Escape Gear front seat covers and they fit like a glove, headrest & armrest included. They even accommodate the front seat fitted airbag with slots in the correct positions for deployment thereof. Each to his own I suppose.
