taking out rear folding seats...
I am trying to clean the gap between the rear (fold away) seats as the guy who had ny disco before me was a dirty beggar!
Anyone have any tips? Im scared of undoing a bolt and having it all unspring on me never to be put in again!
Anyone pulled them out before? any pitfalls?Oh why does land rover ownership have to be such an "adventure"

It is a real hassle TBH to take them out. More hassle than its worth.
Best bet is just to raise them up and clean underneath.

yea, I got as far down as I could with the long nozzle on my "Henry" but there is a load of sawdust and collective dog hair, its not too bad just bugs me that I know its there.
Funny thing is when I got it the chap said "oh i'm really picky about cleaning the car", obviously his idea of clean and mine are too completely different things!Oh why does land rover ownership have to be such an "adventure"
It's not too difficult - some of the bolts are under the floor trim on each side, and a few more in the middle. Both seats come out together though, so it's not that easy to lift them out - best to have some help with that bit. I had the same problem - previous owner had a St Bernard so lots of fur and other 'stuff' to clean out!Previously:
