Adjust the top part of the latch, pull off the plastic surround and get a 10mm socket in there The End

I had a tailgate rattle and fixed it with a dab of grease on the latch and the two plastic locaters on each side of the top tailgate. Has not retuned since. I never have time to go the dealer! 2016 D4 Landmark

just had alook a the the tailgait an it looks like its the o/s gas strut piston rattleing in-side the tube anybody had similar problems audi rs4 b7 panda multijet vespa et4 abbey spectrum

Make sure its not the top mount for the strut. They used to come loose rather frequently, and eventually the mounting snaps off in the bodywork. Newer vehicles should be ok though.

had the car to james edwards(st helens) to-day and they replaced the o/s tailgate strut, at the end of its stroke when open the last inch or so just flopped around in the tube so all in all well pleased D audi rs4 b7 panda multijet vespa et4 abbey spectrum
